Vintage Lane? Custom Painted Cedar Dresser Jewelry Trinket Chest - Clean with only very light wear from age (See photos). There are no markings identifying it as Lane however the construction and size appear identical to many others labeled as Lane. Outside Measurements are about 9L x 4 7/8W x 3 1/2H. Key not included. Lane Furniture's mini cedar chests are a well-known part of American furniture history. The company gave these chests to high schoot graduates as part of their Girl Graduate Plan which was one of the most successful marketing campaigns of the 20th century. Lane estimates that in the 1950's and 1960's that half to two-thirds of graduating girls received a box. The boxes were offered as a gift but the girls had to pick them up at a Lane dealership. This is a chance to own your own part of this history!
