Franked with occupation-era stamps including two "Produce and Preserve Food for New Philippines" surcharged issues, a Philippine Islands definitive with occupation overprint bars, plus Republika ng Pilipinas definitives - Burgos 12¢, Rizal 5¢, and Mabini 17¢ - all with Manila Feb 17, 1944 first day cancels.

Features the black patriotic cachet "Commemorating the Birth of a New Philippines" with historical dates 1872 through 1943, and purple circular nationalist cachet 1872-1896. Includes Rizal's poem "My Last Thought" - a different verse from other covers in this series.

Locally addressed to Mr. Pedro P. Velasco Jr., Manila - genuine local use during occupation. Clean back with no backstamps.

Condition: Some toning consistent with age, overall presentable.
