On August 3, 1998 in Los Angeles, CA., Alfred Hitchcock became the third subject honored in the Legends of Hollywood series, Hitchcock rose to fame producing and directing suspense films. Directing such classics as "Vertigo", "Psycho", and "Rebecca" which won the Oscar for Best Picture, Hitchcock gained a reputation as the master of suspense. Interestingly, Hitchcock was also famous for making cameo appearances in his movies.
