1989 UPU Universal Postal Congress Plate Block Of 4 25c US Postage Stamps Sc 2434-2437
In 1989 the USPS issued this block of four stamps depicting vehicles that helped deliver America's mail from Colonial times to the early 1900s. The stamps show four of the most commonly used mail transports. The se-tenant was issued to commemorate the 20th Universal Postal Congress, held in the U.S. for the first time in nearly a century.
These are real USPS postage stamps that are accepted by the USA Postal Service as payment for mail posted in the USA however the total rates on the stamps posted must equal or exceed the current appropriate postal mailing rate or extra postage must be paid.
