1985 Walter Lippmann Plate Block of 4 6c Postage Stamps - MNH, OG - Sc# 1849
On September 19 1985 in Minneapolis MN the USPS honored American Journalist and political commentator, Walter Lippmann. He received the Pulitzer Prize in 1958 and 1962, and was awarded other prestigious honors which established him as America's foremost analyst of social, political, and ethical problems. Lippmann died in 1974 at the age of 85.
