1985 Horses Plate Block of 4 22c Postage Stamps - MNH, OG - Sc# 2158

In 1985 the USPS issued this se-tenant block of four depicting American Horses. First domesticated by nomadic peoples in the third millennium B.C., the horse was brought to the new world by the Spanish in the 1500s. Included are the: Morgan, Appaloosa, Saddlebred, and the Quarter Horse
