THIS IS A BLOCK OF 4 STAMPS AS PICTURED. On May 8 1971 in Independence MO, the USPS issued this 8 cent stamp commemorating the 150th anniversary of Missouri statehood. This stamp, artwork by Thomas Hart Benton, was issued on the 87th birthday of President Harry Truman, in Truman's hometown of Independence, Missouri.
