February 21, 1941 trans-Pacific airmail cover from Rochester, New York to Manila, Philippine Islands.

Franked with three 50¢ Trans-Pacific airmail issues (Scott C22) and $1 Woodrow Wilson high value (Scott 832), totaling $2.50 in postage. Marked "BY TRANS-PACIFIC ROUTE - VIA AIR MAIL."

Correct commercial multi-weight trans-Pacific usage from Lawyers Co-operative Publishing Co., consistent with heavy document mailing. This is genuine business mail, not philatelic favor usage.

Manila receiving backstamp present on reverse (Feb 1941).

Sent just months prior to the outbreak of war in the Pacific and subsequent suspension of U.S.-Philippines trans-Pacific airmail service following December 1941 events.

Pre-war commercial trans-Pacific covers with multiple C22 frankings are increasingly difficult to locate, particularly on non-philatelic mail.

Condition: Opening wear at left, edge wear, and tape staining on reverse as shown. Stamps securely affixed and tied. Please review high-resolution scans carefully.
