1939 Texaco Philippines Advertising Envelope - Manila Railroad Company

Offered is an original pre-WWII commercial advertising envelope from The Texas Company (Philippines) Inc., Manila.

The envelope features a color Texaco Motor Oil advertising panel and was addressed to the Purchasing Agent of the Manila Railroad Company, Tondo Station Building.

Typed notation reads:

"Proposal for Furnishing Kerosene Oil - To be opened at 11:00 A.M. July 1, 1939."

This appears to have been a sealed bid submission envelope and does not show evidence of postal use.

Condition:

Shows normal age toning and handling wear. Minor flap wear and light staining on reverse. Front advertising panel remains strong and attractive. Please review images carefully.
