First flight cover, FAM Route 14, San Francisco to Hong Kong, China. Franked with Scott C20 50-cent and C21 20-cent Trans-Pacific airmail stamps, cancelled San Francisco, California, April 21, 1937. Victoria, Hong Kong arrival backstamp April 28, 1937 - seven days trans-Pacific delivery on the inaugural flight.

Blue double-globe cachet inscribed "First Flight to Asia / F.A.M. No. 14 / San Francisco to Hong Kong" with Pan American China Clipper flying boat vignette. Additional blue two-line handstamp "San Francisco to Hong Kong, China" on face. Circular "Received Jun 3 1937 Western Traffic Manager" handstamp also present. Addressed to Miss Charlotte Bouldin, Stuart Building, Seattle, Washington.

Cover on blue airmail lightweight paper shows wrinkling and edge wear at top consistent with use. Franking, cachet, and backstamp all clear and presentable.
