FAM Route 6 first flight cover originated from San Juan, Puerto Rico, cancelled December 6, 1931 at 5 AM and carried on the inaugural airmail service to San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic. Franked with the 10 cent Winged Globe airmail stamp (Scott C10). Features the diamond-shaped "First Flight Air Mail / San Juan / San Pedro de Macoris / Nuevitas / F.A.M. Route 6" cachet in purple ink, plus "Par Avion / By Air Mail" blue label at upper left. Large purple transit handstamp at center.

Addressed to Mr. Carroll L. Weber, Care of Postmaster, San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic - another prepared collector cover from the well-known Louisville, Kentucky flight cover collector Carroll L. Weber, with handwritten Spanish return instruction on reverse: "Despues de 10 dias devuelvase al Senor Carroll L. Weber, 630 W. Ormsby Ave., Louisville, Ky. USA." Dominican Republic arrival backstamp on reverse confirms genuine flight carriage.

The San Juan origin represents a third distinct departure point on the FAM 6 route, making this a natural companion to Miami and St. Thomas originations for the specialist collector building a complete FAM 6 study collection.

Condition is good overall with light toning at upper left reverse. Front presents well with stamp, cancel, and cachet showing clearly.
