Clean FAM Route 6 first flight cover, mailed from Miami, Florida December 4, 1931 and carried on the inaugural airmail service to San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic. Franked with the 10 cent Winged Globe airmail stamp (Scott C10), the correct period franking for this route. Features the attractive diamond-shaped "First Flight Air Mail / Miami / Nuevitas / San Pedro de Macoris / F.A.M. Route 6" cachet with aircraft vignette at center left, plus "Par Avion / By Air Mail" blue label at upper left.

Addressed to Mr. Carroll L. Weber, Care of Postmaster, San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic - a prepared collector cover with Spanish-language return instruction printed on reverse: "Despues de 10 dias devuelvase al Senor Carroll L. Weber, 630 W. Ormsby Ave., Louisville, Kentucky, USA." Reverse bears the Dominican Republic arrival backstamp dated December 9, 1931 - five days transit from Miami - confirming genuine flight carriage.

Condition: Please examine photos carefully. A small vertical tear is present on the envelope flap just to the right of the peak, extending to the top edge. Difficult to see in photos but present. Otherwise general aging consistent with a 90-year-old cover.
