Airmail cover flown on the FAM 10 route, part of the new accelerated seven-day schedule from the United States to Buenos Aires, Argentina, inaugurated on the Lindbergh survey flights.

Franked with the 5c Winged Globe airmail issue (Scott C12) plus the 20c Golden Gate definitive (Scott 567), tied by the Newark, N.J. duplex cancel dated APR 25, 6:30 PM, 1930. Corner card of Ernest D. Finch, Manager Newark Branch, 802 Military Park Bldg., Newark, New Jersey.

Typed cachet reads: "Via the Lindbergh Flight for first Air Mail to be carried on the new seven day schedule from the United States to Buenos Aires."

Addressed to Mr. J. E. Coffin, Chief Clerk, Captain of the Port, Cristobal, Panama Zone. Reverse shows Panama Canal Zone transit backstamp dated APR 27, 1930, along with an AEREO / Argentina receiving cancel.

Sound cover with expected mailing wear, especially on edges; a 25c rate cover (5c airmail + 20c) - scarce and well-documented example of the early FAM 10 accelerated service to South America.
