Amerikafahrt 1929" cachet with Statue of Liberty and airship vignette, "Mit Luftpost Par Avion" airmail label, and handwritten "Mit Luftschiff L.Z. 127 ab Friedrichshafen" routing endorsement. Addressed to Mr. F. Meyer, Parlin, New Jersey - an unusual small-town New Jersey destination. New York arrival backstamp August 5, 1929, 3 AM on reverse confirms actual westbound delivery.
