FAM Route 6 inaugural first flight cover, January 9, 1929, flown from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Miami, Florida - one of the earliest legs of Pan American Airways' Caribbean airmail network. Cataloged as AAMC F6-7. Franked with the 2¢ and 5¢ International Civil Aeronautics Conference commemoratives (Scott 649 and 650) plus the 5¢ Beacon airmail stamp (Scott C11) - a thematically cohesive aviation franking all issued in 1928. Features the large red rectangular cachet "First Flight Airmail from San Juan / International F.A.M. 6" with Caribbean route map and biplane vignette. Addressed to Dr. H.S. Paine, Miami, Florida. Reverse shows Miami arrival backstamp dated January 10, 1929 - next day delivery - confirming genuine flight carriage, plus an inverted "Air Mail Saves Time" label. Light corner crease and small separation at upper left corner; some toning to reverse. Overall displays well.
