FAM Route 6 first flight cover, February 18, 1929, flown from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on Pan American Airways' early Caribbean airmail service. Franked with a pair of 1 centavo green Alcazar de Colon definitives and the 10 centavos blue airmail map stamp - an attractive three-stamp Dominican Republic franking - tied by Santo Domingo circular datestamp. "Via Air Mail" printed on envelope face. Addressed to J.J. Klemann Jr., 70 Nassau Street, New York City. Penciled notations on face reference catalog number C1-60 with only 300 pieces recorded for this flight, indicating meaningful scarcity.

Reverse bears the Santo Domingo backstamp dated February 18, 1929, incorporating a biplane vignette as part of the official Dominican postal marking design, alongside the route handstamp recording intermediate Caribbean stops including Port-au-Prince, Haiti and San Juan, Porto Rico. Some toning on reverse consistent with age. Roessler, East Orange, N.J. maker's imprint present on reverse flap.
