First flight cover, FAM Route 5 return leg, Cristobal, Canal Zone to Miami, Florida, piloted by Charles Lindbergh, February 10, 1929. Franked with a Canal Zone 25-cent and 2-cent airmail pair, cancelled Cristobal, Canal Zone. Miami arrival backstamp February 13, 1929.

Blue printed cachet "Air Mail First Flight, G.A. Coumer, Vancouver, Canal Zone-U.S.A." Period collector annotation on face and reverse reading "Cover flown by Charles A. Lindbergh," with AAMC catalog reference "F5-2" noted.

Left edge of cover has been cut open, apparently to remove the original contents, and has been partially taped back with a section still loose. Please review photos closely for this condition issue.
