Offered is an attractive 1927 commercial cover from the Philippine Islands, mailed from The Aladdin Co., Vigan, Ilocos Sur, to St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A.

The envelope features a large illustrated advertising panel promoting the Aladdin Mantle Lamp, with bold graphic design and detailed promotional text - an eye-catching and desirable commercial format.

Postal Details:

• Boxed REGISTERED marking with registry number (No. 974)
• Franked with three 4¢ Philippines issues (12¢ total)
• Proper registered commercial usage
• Addressed to Artophone Corporation, St. Louis, Missouri
• U.S. receiving backstamp visible on reverse

Condition:

The cover shows normal age toning and handling wear consistent with commercial use. It was opened along the top edge, somewhat irregularly. Part of the handwritten "Return Receipt Requested" endorsement at the top shows minor loss.

On the reverse, a rectangular section has been cut out, resulting in partial loss of a backstamp and affecting the integrity of the back panel. The illustrated advertising front remains fully intact and displays well.
