Issued circa 1917 during the Kingdom of Italy period, this 3 Lire Assicurativi pair was produced for use on insured parcels and registered letters by the Istituto Assicurazioni e Previdenza Postelegrafonici.

Listed in Sassone under the Assicurativi section as No. 8 (catalog €210 in recent editions). These indemnity stamps are not listed in the Scott catalog.

Offered is the complete se-tenant pair as issued.

Condition:
• Mint Never Hinged
• Original gum with natural age tone
• Minor gum ripple visible only under angled light
• No creases visible from the face
• Sound perforations and intact central separation

Acquired from a long-established Italian philatelic firm (Roberto Pavone - Filatelisti dal 1955), supporting proper specialist identification.

A desirable back-of-book issue for advanced Italy or Assicurativi collectors.
