1973 Love Plate Block of 6 8c Postage Stamps - MNH, OG - Sc# 1475
On January 26, 1975 the USPS released this 8 cent LOVE stamp. The love sculpture was designed by American artist , issued for special occasion uses such as weddings or valentines. In keeping with its theme, it was released in Philadelphia; The City of Brotherly Love. This was the first installment of the popular and long lasting Love Series.
These are real USPS postage stamps that are accepted by the USA Postal Service as payment for mail posted in the USA however the total rates on the stamps posted must equal or exceed the current appropriate postal mailing rate or extra postage must be paid.
